From my friend and delightful colleague Nina Mastumoto. She did this for me as a surprise, but it took a couple of weeks to get to me through a mutual friend of ours. In the meantime, I commissioned her as part of her “Smiles for Japan” charity project, and sent her a giant pile of reference so she’d know how to draw Mirai….and Nina, bless her, just thanked me and didn’t say a word. So I was THAT MUCH MORE SURPRISED to have this handed to me a couple days later. <3
